The Bovie Bantam 952 is a High Frequency Desiccator with Cut capability. Half desiccator and half generator, you get the best of both worlds. 50 watts of cutting power is sufficient for most in-office procedures. Three modes of operation including cut, blended cut and coagulation are all offered with the Bovie 952. The A902 handpiece accepts all industry-standard 3/32″ disposable and reusable electrodes. When in the electrosurgical generator mode, the Bovie 952 uses NEM pad sensing technology for optimum patient protection. Non-absorbent ABS enclosures and liquid resistant membrane switches can be safely wiped clean with a damp cloth. To use the foot control feature, just plug in the foot control. There is no expensive, separate hand piece needed to use the foot control.
